Product information "Electroporation system Gemini Twin Wave SC, Generator"
The Gemini Twin Wave devices are flexible systems that can generate both square wave and exponential decay waves. Ideally suited for all electroporation requirements. The waveform combination allows eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells to be electroporated easily and efficiently in cuvettes with a single device. Prokaryotic cells typically respond well to exponential decay wave pulses, while eukaryotic cells are most efficiently transfected with square wave pulses.
Large, user-friendly touchscreen interface
Universal electroporation for transfection of cells in vitro, in vivo, in ovo, and adherent forms
Preset protocols include the most common eukaryotic and prokaryotic cell types
User-defined protocols: protocols can be added and modified without limits

Up to two cuvettes can be electroporated simultaneously.Scope of supply: Generator Gemini SC, safety dome, electroporation cuvettes 1 mm / 2 mm / 4 mm (10 each), cuvette rackExponential decay pulseCapacitance LV mode:25 ... 3275 µFCapacitance HV mode:10, 25, 50 µFResistance:50 ... 1000 ΩVoltage LV mode:10 ... 500 VVoltage HV mode:510 ... 3000 VSquare wave pulseCapacitance LV mode:3775 µFCapacitance HV mode:85 µFVoltage LV mode:10 ... 500 VVoltage HV mode:510 ... 3000 VMultiple pulse LV mode:1 ... 100 pulses per sampleMultiple pulse HV mode:1 ... 2 pulses per samplePulse length LV mode:0.05 ... 100 msPulse length HV mode:50 µs ... 5 msPulse interval:0.1 ... 10 sCharging time LV mode:7 sCharging time HV mode:4 s
BTX Cuvettes Plus are designed for use in electroporation and electrofusion of bacteria, yeast, insect, plant and mammalian cells. Each sterilized Cuvettes Plus package includes a disposable cuvette and a transfer pipette, which is used for removal of the sample after electroporation. The cuvettes are molded with embedded polished aluminum electrodes, and gamma irradiated for guaranteed sterility.Three electrode gap sizes are available:1mm for bacteria and yeast2mm for all cell types4mm for mammalian cellsBTX cuvette Plus can obtain high field strengths up to 25.0 kV/cm. Round caps are leak resistant and allow for quick and easy removal. For research use only. Can be used with electroporation systems from different manufacturers (not suitable for units from Eppendorf).
